The Parish comprises three individual settlements situated within or on the edge of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty:
Church Pulverbatch is a Conservation Area village with a church and village hall. It is an attractive village located approximately eight miles south west of Shrewsbury. It lies within the parish of Church Pulverbatch, just to the east of Castle Pulverbatch and the county road from Shrewsbury to Bishops Castle via Longden.

The village is a hill top settlement on the edge of the South Shropshire Hills Area of Natural Beauty. Fine views are obtained from the village across the surrounding countryside and uplands. At the beginning of the 20th century Kelly’s Directory describes Church Pulverbatch as having ‘much romantic scenery in the neighbourhood, and is in close proximity to Cothercott Hill with the majestic Wrekin in the distance’.
Castle Pulverbatch has a number of dwellings and a public house. The village lies completely within the AONB.

Wrentnall is a small village with a number of dwellings and two farms.
