With the help and support of the Community Council of Shropshire and Rachel Johnson (our local Community Regeneration Officer), a Parish Plan Steering Group for the parish of Church Pulverbatch (including Wrentnall, Castle Pulverbatch, Church Pulverbatch and the immediate surrounding area) was established in February 2011.

Its aim is to create, within the next 12 months, a document which sets out a shared vision of how this community wants the parish to develop over the next few years. It will cover social, economic and environmental issues, which are individual to the parish.
It is important that the plan, when published, will set out the action needed to achieve the aims and aspirations of the local community. In order to develop the plan, a questionnaire will be sent to every individual within the parish during the summer of this year. However, prior to this, we would welcome suggestions from as many people as possible as to what issues this questionnaire should include. To this end, suggestion boxes have been placed in the village hall, St Edith's Church and the White Horse pub. For the parish plan to be a success, it needs to involve the whole community, from toddlers to the elderly, as well as new and old parishoners.
Additionally, anyone wishing to attend or be part of the steering group meetings is more than welcome; they are held every second Monday of each month at 7.30pm in the village hall. You may also contact any of the steering group members, who are:
